Plot Summary:  A soldier fighting in a war with aliens finds himself caught in a time loop of his last day in the battle, though he
becomes better skilled along the way.Director Doug Liman gets to toy with visual effects for the first time since Jumper (which has become a cult movie), and Tom Cruise knows the genre well by now - it has become his place of assured career longevity. This particular sci-fi Groundhog Day has more expectations that Source Code had on its shoulders, and the great reviews bode well for a huge worldwide embrace. More than anything we're happy for Emily Blunt, who is pretty much our favorite Hollywooder.
